What is a good Kahoot alternative in India?

QG Playground is a live quiz and assessment platform made in India by Quiz Granny, a quiz company from Bhopal. Like Kahoot, players join on their phones with a room code and race up a leaderboard on the big screen. The differences matter if you pay and teach in India. Prices are in rupees: Pro is ₹799 a month billed yearly, plus GST. The free plan allows 20 players per session, where Kahoot's free Go plan allows 10 per game. Granny, the built-in AI, writes quizzes from a topic or your PDF in English or Hindi. You can also schedule a quiz as a timed test with negative marking, send certificates automatically, and see skill reports after a training session. Kahoot is still a strong pick if you want its very large library of ready-made public games, or if your company already runs its courses on Kahoot.

When Kahoot! is the better pick.

We'd rather you choose the right tool than switch and regret it.

  • You mostly run ready-made public games from Kahoot's very large library
  • Your company already runs its learning paths and courses on Kahoot! 360
  • Your players already know the Kahoot! app and you don't need rupee billing or Hindi
