How do I run a live poll in a meeting?

In QG Playground, add a poll slide to any session, press Go live and show the room code. People open qgplay.live on their phones, enter the code and vote with one tap, with no app and no clickers to hand out. Results appear live on the big screen as bars in each option's colour, with percentages and a vote count, so you can talk about them as they form. Polls open straight away, with no countdown, timer or score, and stay open until you move on. Mix them with word clouds for open answers, ratings for feedback on a 5 or 10 scale, and rankings for priorities, in the same session as quiz questions. For a feedback survey, run the same questions live in the last few minutes of a session, while everyone is still in the room. Votes are anonymous by default, and polls are on every plan.

Is this poll maker free?
Yes. The quick poll on this page needs no sign-up, and live polls are on the Free plan for up to 20 people per session.
Are polls anonymous?
By default, yes: people only give a nickname. You can collect names or emails on Pro Plus if you need to.
Can I use polls inside a quiz?
Yes. Mix polls, word clouds and ratings with scored questions in the same session.
Can people type their own answers?
Use a word cloud: each person types a word or short phrase and the cloud grows live.
Can it replace clickers in a lecture hall?
Yes. Students answer on the phones or laptops they already carry, and Pro Plus has no limit on people per session.
Can people answer a survey later?
Polls, word clouds and ratings run live only. For answers over several days, schedule a quiz with multiple choice or ranking questions (Pro and above).
Can I take attendance with it?
Turn on player details (Pro Plus) to collect names, emails or roll numbers with every answer.
Can I export poll results?
Yes, with Excel export on Pro and above.
