Overview
1. Scope
This Policy applies to all paid subscriptions to QG Playground — the Pro and Pro Plus plans, billed monthly or annually, in Indian Rupees (INR) or in a supported international currency. Enterprise plans are governed by their separate written agreement. By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to this Policy together with the Terms and Conditions.
The Free plan is free of charge and involves no payment, mandate, or refund (see Section 8).
2. Subscriptions and automatic renewal (autopay)
Paid plans are recurring subscriptions. When you subscribe, you authorize an automatic payment mandate (for example UPI AutoPay, e-mandate, or card) through our payment processor, Razorpay. Your plan then renews automatically at the start of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel.
We send a payment receipt for each successful charge. We will notify you at least 30 days before any price change takes effect; price changes are not retroactive and do not affect the billing period already paid for.
3. Pricing, currencies, and taxes
Current prices for all plans are published at qgplayground.com/pricing. Indian customers are billed in INR and charged GST (currently 18%). International customers are billed in the currency shown at checkout (for example USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, or DKK). The amount you authorize is the amount charged each cycle.
You are responsible for any taxes or duties payable in your jurisdiction unless stated otherwise at checkout. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own foreign-exchange or cross-border fees, which are outside Quiz Granny’s control.
4. Cancelling your subscription
You may cancel at any time from Account → Subscription within the Platform, or by emailing quizgranny@gmail.com. Cancellation stops all future automatic renewals and ends the payment mandate.
Following cancellation, your paid plan remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that date, your account automatically reverts to the Free plan and its limits. We do not delete your account or quiz data on cancellation — your quizzes remain accessible within Free plan limits. To delete your account and data entirely, see qgplayground.com/deletion.
5. Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, and we do not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period once it has started — instead, you keep full access until the period ends. The table below summarises when a refund does and does not apply:

As a goodwill measure, we may — at our sole discretion — consider a refund request made within 7 days of a first-time subscription purchase where the Platform has been substantially unused. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
6. Upgrades and downgrades
Upgrades between plans take effect immediately. On card subscriptions, the price difference is prorated against your current plan’s remaining balance. On UPI or e-mandate subscriptions (which use a fixed mandate), you will be asked to authorize a new mandate for the higher plan amount.
Downgrades take effect at your next renewal date — you retain your current plan until then, after which autopay bills the lower plan. Plan changes do not generate cash refunds.
7. Failed payments
If an automatic renewal payment fails (for example, due to an expired mandate or insufficient funds), we will maintain your access until the end of the period already paid for and may retry the charge. If payment is not completed, your account reverts to the Free plan.
8. Free plan
The Free plan is free of charge and involves no payment, mandate, or renewal, and therefore no refund. You can use the Free plan within its limits for as long as you keep your account.
9. How to request a refund
Email quizgranny@gmail.com from your registered account email, and include:
- your registered email address;
- the approximate date and amount of the charge; and
- the reason for your request.
We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method, typically within 5–7 business days — though the time for the amount to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
10. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at quizgranny@gmail.com — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Raising a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending resolution.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law, our payment processes, or industry practice. The current version will always be available at qgplayground.com/refund. Where a change is material, we will give reasonable notice. Continued use of a paid plan after the revised Policy takes effect constitutes acceptance of it.
