Paste your text into the box on this page: feedback comments, survey answers, a speech, or a list of words. The generator counts how often each word appears, leaves out common words like “the” and “and”, and draws the most frequent words largest in the middle, spiralling outwards. Choose how many words to show, the colour scheme, whether some words are tilted, and a light or dark background, and the cloud updates as you type. Press Download to save it as a PNG image for a presentation or a report. Everything happens in your browser, so your text isn't uploaded anywhere, and there's no sign-up. To collect the words from a live audience instead, QG Playground's live word cloud lets people type answers of up to 30 characters on their phones with a room code, and the cloud grows on the big screen as they arrive.
